Christian Lewis, Esq.
Christian Lewis, Esq., serves as Counsel and Director of Trust Onboarding at Commonwealth Community Trust, a non-profit pooled trust administrator that has served over 3,500 beneficiaries across the United States who are vulnerable or have a disability.
Before joining CCT, Mr. Lewis was a partner at a personal injury law firm, litigating thousands of plaintiff’s personal injury cases over a twenty-year career. He also was the director of marketing for the firm, overseeing all aspects of the media, digital, and non-digital campaigns.
Mr. Lewis was a long-time member of the Maine Trial Lawyers Association, Board of Governors, serving as President 2020-2021. During his career as a trial attorney, Mr. Lewis provided pro bono services to those who could not afford them and served on the Maine Volunteer Lawyers Project (VLP) Board of Directors executive committee for a decade. Mr. Lewis was named the VLP Volunteer of the Year for 2020.
Prior to his legal career, Mr. Lewis was an Intelligence Analyst for the Department of Justice, supporting large scale criminal investigations.
Mr. Lewis earned his Bachelor of Arts from James Madison University, a Master’s Degree from the National Intelligence University, and his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law.
